Alright, so im sixteen, i’ve been with my boyfriend for almost nine months now. he doesn’t push me towards sex or anything, but i know he obviously wants it, he’s 17. part of me really wants to like respect my body and wait until marriage, and then the other part is like, what’s the point? There’s always a chance of getting pregnant even with protection, and im diffidently not ready for that, no matter what. should i wait? would people look at me differently?

Would you rather save yourself till marriage (not for any religion purposes or anything like that) just as a self respect act and a act of showing respect to your significant other. I know I would how many think it is a good moral or idea to do that? Thanks and be honest please.

I am a Christian and I am abstaining from sex until I get married. No ones opinion will change what I believe. I simply would like others’ opinions on this matter.

I’m two minded about it…I think the notion is sweet and honorable but if you have already ‘lost it’ isn’t it a little uncomfortable going out with a guy who is saving himself? What’s your opinion.
