The pb goes on the bread first because you have to use that as a gauge for how much jelly to put on. If your jelly to pb ratio is off, it will not be satisfying at all. It will leave you with regrets. THEN you have to hold the sandwich in such a way the jelly will not drip off. Sometimes it may be the top slice, sometimes the bottom but it goes down the hatch the same way. A good way to save your marriage is to eat pbj in the nude.

I find myself in agreement with you. The jelly always goes on first and is always on top. I can not believe there is civilized people who eat it backwards, that is so disgusting. I almost agree that is it very close to ground for divorce, but not quite. Now to lick the jelly off the knife and then stick it in the peanut butter, now that is grounds for divorce.
